Adult Hockey

DFHL WOMENS HOCKEY

MENS LEAGUE

All Adult Groups are no checking and require current USA Hockey registration. Must be 18 yrs or older to participate.

Sunday Adult League

      ·    Ability Level: Intermediate and Advanced.

This competitive 4 team league plays every Sunday evening.
Game times are 7:00 and 8:30 pm and players play once a week based on a published game schedule.
Games are 1:15 hr long with a 10 minute warm up and three 20 min run-time periods with a Referee.
Players are assigned to a team for the session by a draft.
Teams will have a maximum of 15 skaters and a goalie.
The league has separate fall and spring sessions and players must sign up by the registration deadline in order to be eligible for the session. A championship will be awarded each session.
Ability levels vary and the league is open to men and women. Play is skilled and fast paced with players ranging from ex junior and college players, to players who have only been playing the game for few years but are looking for a competitive team environment. Prior hockey experience is recommended.

Thursday Pre-Paid Pick Up

Ability Level: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced.

In a nutshell this is prepaid pickup hockey where you’re guaranteed to have 2 goalies and you get to make friends with the same group of players over the course of the session. There will be mixed abilities, the only prerequisite is a love for the game. Many of the Sunday Adult League players skate here as well for additional ice time and a chance to relax and try things where score doesn’t matter.

Games are Thursday evenings at 9:40 pm and are 1:30 hr long (No Ref’s).

Players mix up the teams evenly each week.

Men and Women of all abilities are welcome.

First come, first served sign up till the spots are gone.

League will have a maximum of 30 players.

Goalies play for free.

First game is January 9^th. (12 Game Session)

Over 45

· Ability Level: Beginner and Intermediate.

· The Over 45 men's league is for men who are 45 years or older, or who will be turning 45 in the current hockey season. This is a non-check league which has refs.

· Games are Tuesday evenings at 8:30 pm and are 1:30 hr long.

· There are two sessions during the hockey season. First session starts the first week of October and runs through the end of December. The second session runs from January till the ice is taken out (usually around the first of April).

· Fall Session begins September 20^th.

· Each session costs $125.00 and is due at the beginning of each session. Payment options are available if warranted.

· New skaters joining can pay weekly at $15.00 to see if they want to continue with the group.

DFHL (“Dave From Hockey” League)

· Ability Level: Novice, Beginner, Intermediate.

· The goal of our league is to provide a safe and productive environment that enables novice to intermediate players to learn and apply the principles of teamwork, discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship in a non-contact environment. We facilitate the development of strength and skills in every player that participates. Participation in our team is open to all men and women above the age of 18.

· Games are Sunday evenings at 5:30 pm and are 1:30 hr long with a Referee.

· We always welcome any players at anytime, there is no sign-up cutoff date.

· Cost to play is $55 for the month of October or $20 per game
